The grid shows how many dots there needs to be placed in every column and row. If there is only one number, it means that all the dots are to be placed in one group - next to each other. If there are two numbers then there must be two groups with as many elements in each group as the numbers say. Image you find the numbers 4 1 1 next to a row or column. This means that this row or column needs to contain exactly 3 groups of dots. The first group must contain 4 dots. The next two group may only contain one dot.
Every dot is marked in the grid with a black square. Click left mouse button to add or remove a dot. You can also mark a square to not contain a dot by right clicking it. Some puzzles may have more than one correct solution.
Good hunt!
