About Kalkulu
Kalkulu is a logic puzzle like Sudoku and Kakuro where you must use logic and try to figure out what the solution may be. In contrast to Sudoku, you must know a bit about math and be able to make small calculations in your head. If you are not trained in this it may at first be difficult, but the puzzles are in fact training while at the same time having fun. A smart person will quickly be able to solve the easy puzzles and get more challenged buy the higher level puzzles.
In Esperanto, Kalkuli means to calculate. Kalkulu is the imperative and can be directly translated as "Calculate!". The name is chosen because 1: it is a bit like Sudoku and Kakuro - There are 3 syllables and it ends in a vowel. 2: It is a word from an international language.
I have found great challenge in the puzzles and enjoyed the step by step approched in discovering a solution. I hope that other will find the puzzles challenging and enjoy playing with the numbers.
